Phoenix du Savoir School is a new eight-class construction for the Lac-Abitibi School Services Centre. Hardy Construction acted as a general contractor under a lump sum contract covering all works, from foundations to final delivery.
The project includes the complete erection of the building, the installation of all mechanical and electrical systems as well as the complete exterior layout, including the school yard, play modules and furniture. An achievement that reflects our ability to deliver large-scale institutional projects to the regions.
Architecture: 37,420 sq. ft. primary school building with eight classes and their complementary spaces. Complete architectural envelope including exterior coverings and school yard landscaping with furniture and game modules.
Structure and civil: Terraces, foundations and mixed structure in concrete, steel and laminated-glued wood. Complete site development including civilian infrastructure.
Mechanical and plumbing: Installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (VACC), plumbing and fire protection systems.
Electricity and safety: Structured wiring, complete lighting network and building safety systems.
