When the City of Malartic launched its call for tenders for the design and implementation of the work of the Michel Briere Centre, the needs were still very vague and were limited to the renovation of the envelope, the strengthening of the structure and the replacement of the refrigeration system.

With the expertise of Hardy Construction and its collaborators, it was possible to test and redefine the budget, in order to offer the City of Malartic, not only the few wishes it had established, but also the complete renovation of the interior and exterior architecture of the building.

The Centre stands out thanks to its perforated panels with a bright blue, making Michel Brière's portrait appear.
