The Val-d'Or Native Friendship Centre provides vital services to urban First Nations communities: health, housing, social intervention, and early childhood.

Hardy Construction led the expansion and complete renovation of the existing building down to its load-bearing structure, in three successive phases coordinated so as never to interrupt the Centre's activities.

The team dealt with complex foundations along the street edge, a confined worksite, and major structural constraints within an occupied building, operating seven days a week during certain periods.

A project that illustrates Hardy's ability to deliver with rigour in the most demanding environments.
