The Chisasibi Almhouse project addresses an urgent need for emergency housing for men in precarious situations within the Chisasibi Cree Nation, one of the largest Cree communities on the east coast of James Bay.
Commissioned by the Government of the Cree Nation, this single-story institutional building provides a structured and safe living environment.
Hardy Construction is responsible for the complete management of the construction site—from subcontractor coordination to final delivery—in a remote northern setting.
This project is part of a long-standing relationship of trust between Hardy Construction and the Cree communities of Eeyou Istchee.
