Complete redevelopment of the civil infrastructure associated with the expansion of the Val-d'Or Indigenous Friendship Center, including an underground stormwater retention basin and the rehabilitation of the water, sewer, and stormwater systems, in the heart of the Abitibi region.

The expansion of the Val-d’Or Indigenous Friendship Center is located in the heart of the city, in the immediate vicinity of an early childhood center whose courtyard and playground were completely redesigned. Hardy carried out all the civil engineering work there: excavation, drainage, backfilling, paving, and landscaping.
The team installed a comprehensive stormwater management system, including an underground retention basin, and connected the new water and sewer systems to the municipal pipelines.
Conducted in phases to minimize disruption to ongoing activities, the work required close coordination with public utilities and rigorous protection of existing infrastructure.
