Founded in 1989 by Mr. Guy Hardy in Amos, Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Hardy Construction quickly made a name for itself in the construction industry. In 2009, Dany Hardy became a shareholder in the company, followed in 2018 by his brother Samuel Hardy. Together, they are carrying on the family legacy, ensuring the company’s growth with a dynamic, forward-looking vision.
Since its inception, Hardy Construction has distinguished itself through its ability to diversify, operating in a variety of fields such as building construction (institutional, commercial, and industrial), civil engineering, formwork, and crushing. Thanks to a highly qualified and dynamic team, the company has distinguished itself through the quality of its services and its effective project management. Building on its solid reputation, Hardy Construction combines innovation and expertise to meet the specific needs of each client, while adhering to the highest industry standards.

With locations in Amos, Val-d’Or, and Alma, Hardy Construction continues to grow in order to better serve its clients throughout Quebec. In 2024, the company consolidated its presence in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region by expanding its operations and integrating complementary expertise recognized in the region. This evolution is part of a commitment to build on the region’s strengths, enhance its capacity to respond to needs, and make a lasting contribution to the development of the communities it serves.

As part of its growth, Hardy Construction has completed several projects in northern territories where each job site requires exceptional logistics: schools, hospitals, training centers, airport terminals, etc. Supply by sea, self-sufficient camps, and mobilizing teams in remote regions: we have developed a rare capability, built project by project, community by community. Cree, Innu, Inuit, and Anishinaabe—we work where the needs are real and the challenges are within our capabilities. This expansion has enabled us to meet growing infrastructure needs while supporting local economic development, job creation, and the transfer of skills within Indigenous communities.
Over the years, we have made a name for ourselves throughout Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Northern Quebec, and beyond. Our forward-thinking approach and our ability to adapt to market trends and demands have made us a leading authority in our field.
We are proud to have won the prestigious CONSTRUIRE 2022 Award for the Outaouais, Abitibi, and Northwest regions of Quebec.
